Launch of Constant Speed Fuel Consumption – CoP Online Application Module
As part of ARAI’s continuous efforts towards digitalization of its services, we are pleased to announce the inauguration of the Constant Speed Fuel Consumption – Conformity of Production (CSFC-CoP) online application module, integrated with CMVR-Type Approval Software (CMVR-TAS).
Dr. Reji Mathai, Director-ARAI, launched this module and made it live for applicants on 25th April 2025. Shri Abdul Jabbar Akbar Badusha, Senior Deputy Director – ARAI, along with senior ARAI officials, were present on the occasion.
This initiative aligns with the notification from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways – India (MoRTH) regarding CSFC-CoP compliance for all diesel-fuelled vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) exceeding 3.5 tonnes, under GSR 844(E) dated 22nd November 2022.
The online system now allows Vehicle OEMs to commence their second CSFC-CoP compliance cycle digitally, improving application processing, data management, and monitoring for better transparency and efficiency.
